It is finally here! The much-awaited Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus has started sales in the US. The handset counters have already been started in all the stores including Verizon Wireless, Amazon Wireless, LetsTalk and Wirefly.

At the Verizon stores, the 4G LTE Galaxy Nexus is available for a price of $299.99 along with a two-year contract. The carrier is also offering different data packages for the world’s first Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone.

The data plans for 2GB, 5GB and 10GB models are available at a monthly charge of $30, $50 and $80 respectively. As part of the holidays, Big Red has doubled the limit of data usage for the above monthly plans. An extra $20 fee has to be paid for activating the 2GB mobile hotspot on the handset.

Meanwhile, LetsTalk offers the Sammy smartphone at $154.99 with under the same conditions through their stores. This discount in the price is due to the Lets Talk’s “$75VZN” coupon issued on the entire Verizon Wireless device in their stores via Facebook.

This price reduction is now on as a part of the promotional plans of the LetsTalk. The retailer is offering the handset at a price of $174.99. The LetsTalk customers will get the Verizon’s $30 month plan along with the handset.

You can buy the Galaxy Nexus for $219.99 from the Wirefly shops too. Along with the new Verizon Wireless account, the retailer promises free standard shipping via FedEx and Wirefly Mobile Backup Service up to 2GB with no extra charges. They also allow options to customize various Verizon data plans too.

The Verizon 4G LTE Galaxy Nexus has also started sales at the Amazon Wireless stores.

This apart, Verizon has already introduced the Samsung Galaxy Nexus support simulator on their website.

The page shows the Galaxy Nexus’s complete programmed hands-on tutorials for navigating menus, launching apps, taking beautiful pictures, activating mobile hotspots and browsing single page Verizon sites.
