Iran Planning Tit-for-Tat with ‘Attack on Tel Aviv’ Game

You know, Battlefield 3 was something Iran was not really happy with, as it depicts an American soldier fighting on the streets of Tehran, looking for missing nuclear warheads. And, the game was banned in Iran.

Okay, we might think that’s it. But there is more. Now, Iran’s state-run National Foundation of Computer Games (NFCG) has announced a new computer game titled “Attack on Tel Aviv”, which apparently is the getting back at the United States.

The title will feature Iran’s reaction toward depicting an American soldier on Tehran’s streets in Battlefield 3, according what NFCG’s Behruz Minaii, was heard saying at the 4th Dubai World Game Summit held from November 30 to December 1.

Minaii also said the United States is governed by the Zionist Regime, and so Attack on Tel Aviv would make Americans angrier than a game about an attack on Washington.

He said they had raised objections over the Battlefield 3 to the officials of Epic Games who were among the sponsors of Dubai World Game Summit.

But the reaction was that it is only a game and should be taken easy. But with the game set in Tehran, it is simply not acceptable, said Minaii.

On whose side are you?
