BlackBerry 7.1 OS Update Pack Leaked

While all are out looking for BlackBerry 10, RIM is apparently working on the new version of their current platform. From the latest of news to reach us, we found the leaked version of the BlackBerry 7.1 OS which is coming with some additional features from the previous one.

The leaked BlackBerry 7.1 OS was spotted running in the Torch 9810. This could be hinting at the impending official release of the update pack.

In the BlackBerry 7.1, RIM’s latest inclusion is the mobile hotspot feature, which is usually seen in Android smartphones. Now, the BlackBerry 7.1 smartphones, synced with 5 other devices like laptop via Wi-Fi, will allow sharing the internet connection through the 3G sharing feature.

Seeing the mobile hotspot on the BB 7.1, we hope that the feature will be seen in the BlackBerry 10 platform. This unofficial update pack can be installed in smartphones running BlackBerry 7.0.0.540 ROM.
