Planning to grab a Verizon 4G LTE Galaxy Nexus? Then check this out too.

Verizon is offering something more to take along with the Galaxy Nexus from their stores. The company has introduced a handful of accessories that will make the world’s first Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone more charming.

We think this is a preparation move from Verizon’s part, before the launch of the 4G LTE version of Galaxy Nexus.  In the accessories list, a Power and Protection package comprising a black case and holster, a universal car charger with USB slot and three screen protectors come for a price of $49.97.

Meanwhile, the spare battery charging kit priced at $39.99 seems to be the more sparkling one.

This package consists of a spare 1850mAh battery, a stand-alone battery charger, and a micro-USB dual-charging cable that allows you to charge both the spare battery and your Galaxy Nexus in the same time.

It is rumored that Verizon 4G LTE Galaxy Nexus will be released on December 9.

It’s, however, a worrisome fact that Verizon has made no official announcement on the handset’s launch as yet. Stay tuned as we go for to know more on Verizon’s moves.
