Google Employees Receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Nexus S

December 5, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Google had promised almost two months ago that they will roll out the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to all Nexus S devices.

Well, it looks like the search giant made a new step in this direction and is now close to release the update for general public.

Google has provided their employees with the beta version, so that their feedback will make the company enhance the update further.

Though most of the messages from the employees that mentioned the update are now deleted from Twitter and Google+, we are convinced that the testing has begun already.

It is unclear, as of now, how many Google employees received the Android 4.0 update on their Nexus S devices.

However, the move proves that the company is now testing the update in a confined environment to avoid releasing the buggy Ice Cream Sandwich update.

We get to see comments that laud Google for doing a great job with ICS.

Many point out that some really awesome features have been thrown in.

Though in its infancy, the ICS update for the Nexus S is sure to reach you soon. What do you think?
