Ultrabooks, the new thin class of laptops, are just amazing with their design and features right?

The increasing popularity of these thin and lightweight ultra-portable laptops has prompted many companies to try their chances in the market with such products. Acer, one of the manufacturers, is aiming to release their next model in early 2012.

We had earlier updated you about the Acer’s coming Ultrabook models, if you would remember. Now, according to the Acer’s Middle East country manager, Grigory Nizovsky, a slightly redesigned model of Aspire S3 is expected to reach the markets in April so as to double the sales. The second-generation Aspire S3 will be coming with a new platform from Intel.

This Acer plan hints that the Ivy Bridge Ultrabooks may be seen before the estimated June debut. Along with this, it was revealed that the new Ultrabook will be featuring a 1.5 seconds boot time, 50-days battery backup via Acer Green Instant On, increased hard disk storage capacity and Acer Instant Connect to access Internet in just 2.5 seconds.

Showing the stats, Nizovsky pointed out that 20 percent of the total Ultrabook sales is seen in the UAE market. We feel that, going by this pace, the 40 percent of the laptop market will be occupied by the Ultrabooks by the end of 2012.
