HTC Rezound Facing Audio Problems Irrespective of iBeats or Other Headphones

December 2, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

To get a new device without any problems has now become something of a rare treat. The HTC Rezound is the latest device which is reported to be facing problems.

The Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread smartphone was released just two weeks ago. And within this short time, Rezound is facing trouble in the audio department, which is something that the Taiwanese company should be ashamed of.

Earlier, HTC had boasted on the sound features of the 4G LTE handset that comes integrated with the Beats Audio technology. It’s been reported that the Rezound owners are complaining on some sort of static interference while using headphones including the iBeats specially designed for the handset.

It seems that the problem is not with the Beats Audio because the users experience the disturbance when both streaming and listening to the internally stored music. And, reportedly, the problem persists only with a few HTC handsets.

Some commented that this audio problem is due to the 4G connectivity of the smartphone. HTC responded that they have received only some calls about the sound issue and they are diligently checking on it.

Since, this problem occurs in isolated cases, the company hasn’t revealed any steps to fix the issue till now. They have asked the troubled Rezound owners to consider it as a normal hardware problem and report it as to get a fix or replacement if needed.

It is heard that the audio problem of the Rezound is increasing as the days pass. Are you having any trouble with your Rezound?
