Apple iPhone 5 Could Come with a Few Surprises; 4-Inch Screen Device Might Come this March

December 1, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Some unusual visitors are reported to be pouring into Cupertino and pushing their way in to the Apple’s lab, where the young prince, iPhone 5, is bracing himself up for the crowning ceremony.

Wondering what we are talking about? It’s about the 4 inch screens Sony and Hitachi are apparently making for the Apple’s next generation iPhone. The early prototypes are believed to be shipped to Apple’s Cupertino HQ.

You might have heard that Steve Jobs did block the release of iPhone 5 as he personally felt that the device was not ready for launch. However, his successors seem not to agree.

The clue is that they have decided to bless the new phone with a larger screen. Anyway, back-fence talk is that the device would be released by March 2012.

Also, these new iPhones, unlike the predecessors, are expected to wear a different attire. According to the grapevine, the device, in addition to featuring a 4-inch display, would also be featuring an aluminum metal casing.

Apple believes that the four-inch display would put iPhone 5 at par with many other Android rivals. The model should also be a thin one as it employs IGZO (iridium, gallium, zinc) displays. This new device, by all means, should come with an increased battery life too.

We are sure you are excited about the new iPhone. However, we need to wait till we hear from Cupertino. Stay tuned and we will get you what you wish to hear at the earliest.
