It looks like Microsoft’s efforts in pushing their new mobile platform, Windows Phone, are bringing in some positive results as of late. The recent rise in the number of people using Microsoft’s Facebook Integration in Windows Phone 7 is what we are talking about.

According to the latest stats, the number of Windows Phone users sharply increased from 1,000,000 and reached 1,100,000 in the period between November 11 and 25. That means, around 5-6 million are now using the Windows Phone platform.

The successful run of the Windows Phone 7.5 handsets, particularly the HTC Titan, in the market is considered to be the growth factor of the platform. It is also reported that the Nokia Lumia smartphones have been garnering strong sales numbers in the European market.

Other smartphones like HTC Radar, Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash are also expected to gain space in the global market. So we hope the growth rate of the Windows Phone platform will increase in the coming days.

Though this is boosting stats for Microsoft, comparing the sales of Android handsets per day, this is really very low. It is estimated that Microsoft’s partners might have sold around 600,000 new Windows Phone powered devices during the period.

As you all know, the Windows Phone platform, with the integrated Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn features, has played an important role in pushing popularity.

What is your take on this?
