Motorola Droid RAZR White Version Revealed in Leaked Verizon Document

November 29, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

As you know, the thinnest 4G LTE phone – Droid RAZR – is a successful Moto device now in the market. For a change, how about playing with a RAZR clad in white? We get to hear that Verizon and Motorola are fast readying a white version of their latest smartphone.

This new white hued of RAZR was spotted in a leaked screenshot depicting Verizon’s device management system.

It seems Motorola is following the steps of Apple and Samsung and gearing up to release the white RAZR so as to lure more customers.

If this happens, the RAZR will be added to the Motorola’s white devices line up that consists of the Droid 2 Global and R2-D2.

Apart from the change in the shade, the RAZR comes with the same features as that of the black sibling. The Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread handset comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Under the hood, the RAZR sports a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB built-in memory and 16GB micro SD card and dual HD cameras:  an 8-megapixel rear shooter with 1080p video recording and a 1.3-megapixel snapper at the front.

It is believed that the RAZR will get the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS update next year.

We expect the white hued RAZR to sport the same pricing details as of the black variant – so could be made available for $299.99 with a two-year contract on Verizon.

Meanwhile, there is no official announcement on the new white jacket RAZR from Motorola. Tell us if anyone among you is interested in playing with the white RAZR?
