Sammy freaks, here is something that could interest you big time. It looks like the Korean company has a new Android smartphone in the works.

We have got some bits and pieces of info on the handset, which was spotted sporting model number GT-S7500.

Though the images we get to see are of low-resolution, it’s clear that the handset comes with the standard set of Android icons on the screen.

It looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy S and is likely to be the next version of the handset.

We think the smartphone features a small 4-inch AMOLED screen with lower resolution than the Galaxy S.

It is rumored that the Samsung GT-S7500 comes with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on its back. Samsung is also rumored to be throwing in a metal housing for the handset.

It is expected that Samsung will introduce the GT-S7500 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event inBarcelona.

Believed to be a mid-range device, we guess the handset could sport a $325 price tag when it actually arrives in the marketplace.

However, the other features of the Wi-Fi enabled handset are still missing. What do you think of the new Samsung GT-S7500 smartphone? Stay tuned as we go looking for more on the mystery device.

In the meantime , here are more pictures of the device:
