Nokia Lumia 800 Unlocked Handset Arrives Stateside

November 25, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

So you thought the Nokia Lumia handsets would not make it stateside at least until early next year.

Retailer Expansys has different plans, though. They are now selling the black- hued, unlocked Nokia Lumia 800, proving your thoughts wrong.

And, do not expect an imported handset on the cheap; it can be owned only if you are able and willing to spend $789.99.

For those who need a memory refresh, the Nokia Lumia 800 features a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and processing is provided by a single core processor that clocks at 1.4GHz.

It also has an 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. The device runs the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango platform, and connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and GPS. There is 16 GB of storage onboard as well.

Well, if you can’t stop thinking about the device, go for it here. Waiting for the Lumia 800 would be a better idea to wait until it is officially launched in the States.

What are you thinking?
