Own a Smartphone for Under $150 this Holiday Season; Here is a List

You already know that the holiday season is one of the best times for getting a brand new smartphone, not only as a gift for loved ones, but for yourself too – especially if you are on strict budget.

There are so many deals floating around for your advantage. Check out these smartphones you can pick for under $150.

Let’s start off with the iPhone, shall we? Now that the iPhone 4S is up and about, the pricing of the older models have been dropped by $100.

So get your iPhone 3GS in 3GB flavor for free with a two-year agreement or the iPhone 4 with an agreement on AT&T, Verizon or Sprint.

The highly regarded camera and the price tag are good enough to convince you to get and iPhone 4.

The EVO Design 4G is a mid-range smartphone from HTC. It packs a 4 inch qHD display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 768MB RAM, and a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video capture. It also has Sense UI 3.0 and Android 2.3.4.

Get this on Sprint for $100. If you want a QWERTY device, you can choose for the EVO shift 4G, at the same price with slightly lower specs.

Windows Phone Mango fans can opt for the HTC Radar, which comes along with Metro UI on T-Mobile. The Radar sports a 3.8-inch S-LCD display with Gorilla Glass, 1GHz Scorpion processor, and a 5megapixel camera capable of 720p video capture at 30fps plus 8GB storage.

All this will be yours for a two-year contract for $100.

Not interested in T-Mobile? Then try HTC Trophy on Verizon for $30 or the HTC Arrive with a QWERTY keyboard for $100 on Sprint.

Here is more at $100. 3D fanatics can consider the LG Thrill 4G on AT&T. It comes with a 4.3-inch 3D LCD display, dual 5megapixel cameras capable of stereoscopic 3D photos and videos and the processing is done by a 1GHz TI OMAP processor. There is also 4G HSPA+ access. $100 for a two-year contract is the mantra.

Motorola Atrix 2 has similar specs but no 3D. It sports a 4.3-inch qHD display, 8megapixel camera capable of shooting 1080p video at 24fps, 8GB storage, 1GB RAM and a 1GHz TI OMAP processor. It is also available for $100 on a two-year contract.

If you miss QWERTY, the go for the Samsung Stratosphere on Verizon.  It sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, 512MB RAM, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4GB built-in memory and a 5 megapixel camera. Get yours for $150.  Epic 4G with similar specs at $100 is also an option.

Then there is the HTC Droid Incredible 2.  It comes with a 4 inch S-LCD (Gorilla Glass) display, 1GHz Scorpion processor, 768MB RAM, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p video at 30fps. It also has the Sense UI and Android 2.3 on board. This one also comes for $150 and an agreement.
