Old friends are joining hands yet again to complete a task which they had left, half-way, years ago. As it is happening, the world waits, anxiously, to see what they are up to.

Still wondering what we are talking about? It’s about a partnership which began in 2006 and resulted in the introduction of two premium mobile phones to the market in 2007 and 2008.

Yes, it’s about the much celebrated partnership between PRADA and LG. Now the duo is back again looking forward to developing premium handsets with a strong identity and the most sophisticated style.

Though no official word on this is available, rumors are that they are planning to bring sexy back with their new Prada K2.

The grapevine has it that the device christened LG Prada K2 features a 4.3-inch 2nd generation Nova HD display, dual-core processor followed by an 8MP shooter in the rear and 1.3MP on the front. It is expected to hit the store shelves by early 2012.

Yet, we have to wait and see whether they will feature Ice Cream Sandwich OS or not. For the moment LG and PRADA are very much excited about the partnership.

They believe that the partnership could work well and it would result in a sensational phone like PRADA phone by LG 1.0, which now is part of the permanent collection in New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Shanghai, because of their superior design.

We will keep you updated as we go. So stay tuned.
