What could be brewing in this Chinese company’s lab now? A hot 5-inch tablet? We guess so, as folks at Engadget have posted a handful of photographs of a little Lenovo tablet, across the web.

Lenovo already has their 10-inch and 7-inch tablets in the market.

Though it is not yet sure whether the device will act as a phone and a tablet like the 5-inch offerings from Dell and Samsung, we guess it would be safe to assume that it would be so.

We tend to think so because a speaker is spotted near the top of the device, in the pictures, which looks almost like a speaker phone.

The grapevine has it that the device runs on Android operating system and features a dual core processor, a microUSB port, a front-facing camera, and HDMI output.

It is also being speculated that the device would be sold in China under the LePad brand name and would be christened IdeaTab in other countries.

Though it’s still a matter of concern whether the 5-inch device would appeal to many, let’s assume that Lenovo has their strategy well in place.

Now, we suggest you stay tuned as we would be bring to you more on this in the coming days.
