Fujitsu Arrows F-07D Thinnest Smartphone Ever; Thinner than Motorola DROID RAZR

November 23, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The Apple iPhone is thin, the Motorola DROID RAZR is thinner, and looks like the Fujitsu Arrows F-07D could be the world’s thinnest smartphone, measuring just 6.7mm and 8.5mm at its thickest parts.

Well, that’s what the FCC filing says.

So this one is thinner than the 9.3mm iPhone 4S. But, the thin form factor seems to be its only big advantage. The Fujitsu Arrows F-07D hardware specs are not top-notch.

If you are looking to know what the device would carry along, here goes.

The smartphone will feature a 4 inch OLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, covered by Gorilla Glass, and is powered by a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which clocks at 1.4 GHz.

It will feature a 5 megapixel camera, 1 GB of internal storage, Micro-USB and Micro-HDMI ports. The device will be waterproof as well, like other Japanese smartphone.

We have no word on the availability of the device in the US. However, the FCC filing indicates a possibility. The Fujitsu Arrows F-07D will be available on Japan’s NTT DoCoMo next year.

If at all it arrives in your midst, would you be going for it? Tell us why.
