Mushroom Networks Add Streamer to Gold VAR Program

November 22, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Mushroom Networks have announced a new addition to their Gold Value Added Resellers. The innovators of Broadband Bonding technology have roped in Streamer to their Gold VAR program.

The program allows authorized US and International partners to resell an innovative webcasting and video streaming device. Streamer is a cost effective and portable device that allows for multiple bonding of broadband connections into a single high-speed pipe optimized for transmitting live high-quality video and audio webcasts.

The connections can be either fixed or wireless and the transmission can be done from wherever cellular service is available. As of now, streamer is the only video streaming equipment that works with many webcasting devices, which includes encoders, switchers, software encoders on laptops as a video source and any Content Delivery Network like Ustream, Livestream, Justin.TV, Akamai and Limelight among others.

With the inclusion of Streamer in the Gold VAR program, Mushroom Networks have put up online demonstrations of Streamer and also offers full technical support to resellers and their clients before any sort of deals and purchases. According to Dr. Cahit Akin, co-founder and CEO of Mushroom Networks:

“Streamer solves the issue of grainy poor picture quality due to buffering and lack of available bandwidth. By adding Streamer to our VAR program, resellers now have a best-in-class offering for broadcasters, bloggers, media houses or anyone needing to stream live content over the Web.”

With Streamer in its kitty, the company’s complete line of products can now be covered by the Gold VAR program.
