Nokia N8 Successor Launching in 2012

Are you one among those who love the Nokia N8? Then you must be happy to hear Nokia’s Vice President, Eric Bertman’s announcement at the launch of Windows Phone Lumia 800 in Russia.

He stated that N8’s successor would soon be coming to the market in 2012. He also mentioned that Nokia won’t give up working on the camera market.

N8 is considered to be one of the best camera phones ever made. This symbian OS device comes with a 12-megapixel, 4000×3000 resolution Xenon flash camera with autofocus.

If there is something you miss in here, then it’s the touch to focus facility; a facility that appears in the new Windows phone offerings. Details are scarce about the new model; however, it should be better than N8 in all ways.

One question that would be racing through your mind would be whether Nokia will include Windows OS or Symbian OS in the upcoming device. Well, we have to wait patiently to know that.

The Nokia N8 received an initial snag when the company could not release it on the announced date. The consumers, so, looked out for other platforms.

However, now Nokia seems to be in a comeback mood after the launching of the Lumia line of Windows Phone devices. Rumors are that they are gearing up to bring Windows 8 tablet and a high-end Nokia Lumia 900 soon.

Spirits are all high at Nokia. Let’s wait and see how the once ruled king makes a comeback.
