New Ninja Gaiden Screens Are Still Bloody

November 16, 2011, By Christian Davis

Tecmo has always been good at delivering fun, bloody, and a painstakingly difficult Ninja Gaiden titles. From the new batch of screenshots that we’ve received today, it looks as though the game will still keep with the same style but that’s not really a bad thing. The screenshots have our favorite ninja Ryu Hayabusa  battling it out in Dubai and taking out a variety of new enemies (Alchemist Forces for example)that have no idea about the painful death they’re about to experience. Though this time, Tecmo promises that the game will give you options on how to handle your enemies rather than mindlessly kill them.

As an attempt to engage the player into the game more, we now have the option to give mercy on the enemies he’s about to brutally slaughter and let them live. Whether this will give the game some sort of morality meter is not said but the game’s new writer, Masato Kato (known for writing Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII), is really trying to engage the player into the actual character of Ryu Hayabusa.

Here are the screenshots of Ninja Gaiden 3 below. If you’re looking forward to the next installment of the title, let us know in the comments below. Before you do tell us if you think the addition of sparing lives is a good dynamic to add to the game.
