BlackBerry should soon be up in the market with their first 4G LTE supporting phone, Blackberry Colt. Though there is not much information on this superphone, it is known that the smartphone features BBX, RIM’s next-gen operating system.
If the reports are true, then this should give a much needed break to RIM, who has been trying hard to regain its lost charm in the mobile market.
BB Colt features a 1.2GHz processor, 900+ screen resolutions and a 4-inch touch screen. It is expected to be thinner than the Bolt 9900 and 9930.
Colt also houses a front and back facing cameras (with enhanced flash and focus), a battery similar to PlayBook and a TAT transitions coupled in BBX. This device will wear no physical buttons.
Rumors are that the device will be out only by mid 2012. If it is the case, then don’t you think that this phone will fail to make an impact?
The market is already moving at an unbelievable pace and it gives a feeling that by mid 2012, these specs would be outdated!
It would, in that case, deliver nothing but a blow to their business rather than giving a break. Anyway, let us watch what is going to happen on that front. Meanwhile, do let us know what you think.
