HTC fans will love to hear this. The Taiwanese company is planning to release a quad-core Android tablet in February 2012. We also hear that two Android smartphones will be seen tiptoeing to our midst, along with the tablet.

Chances are that the recently revealed Nvidia Tegra 3 processor would power the tablet. The new HTC slate is most likely to be seen at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event next year.

The company will be trying to get this tablet to the market  by Q1 as the Windows 8 powered tablets will be launched by Q3.

The grapevine has it that HTC is currently in the process of bringing in a Windows 8 slate too. We just stumbled upon info that says the company will be featuring the ARM-specific build for their upcoming Microsoft OS device.

You might remember, we had just a few days ago, informed you about the HTC Edge, the first quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 smartphone. The 4.7-inch device is believed to come equipped with 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 32GB built-in memory, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and lot more.

It is rumored that the Android handset comes with pixel density greater than what the Apple  iPhone 4S sports.

Meanwhile, the HTC Ville is expected to be the second smartphone that will be seen at the MWC venue. The Android 4.0 smartphone features a 4.3-inch qHD screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera with a backside-illuminated sensor, HSPA+ and much more.

HTC seems to have quite a heavy kitty. Stay with us as we go looking for more details from the company’s labs.
