Cheer up Motorola fans, the time to play with the Droid RAZR is just hours away. The RAZR was in the news for the amazing features it was to carry along. The latest we hear is that the Motorola Lapdock 500 Pro for the handset has successfully passed through the FCC gates.

Unlike the previous docks, the Lapdock 500 Pro is universal and will allow users to connect with all future Android devices made at the Moto labs.

The dock is synchronized with the RAZR, placed on its back through the HDMI docking cable that comes from the rear of the device.

Since, the Lapdock 500 Pro has appeared at the FCC gates, we need to expect the device to reach the stores soon.

The Lapdock 500 Pro is equipped with a 14-inch screen, a webcam, two USB ports for connecting peripherals or external storage, an Ethernet port and SD card reader.

It sports a 6-row chick-let style keyboard with a big touchpad and a large battery. The device will charge the handset’s battery when docked and thereby enhances the battery life. It runs Motorola Webtop apps, including Firefox, Facebook and some games.
