We know all you out there are waiting to play with the Amazon Kindle Fire, which has impressed everyone in attendance and elsewhere during the unveiling event, late September. The company’s first Kindle tablet priced at $199 is ready to go for sale by the end of this month.
Even as you keep your shopping itinerary ready, we have even more interesting news for you.
And, this time it is again about Amazon. The company’s next anticipated move, to be precise. It is rumored that the company will be bringing in the next Kindle tablet by early 2012 and might call it Ice.
A look for news on this exposed before us that the Android powered slate will come with an 8.9-inch touch screen.
We have already been told that the company was on the way to buy some domains, and was scouting for website platforms to park their Kindle Fire and Amazon Silk names.
It is now almost certain that the company has acquired ownership of the domains like amazonkindlefires.com, amazonkindlefiretablets.com, amazonkindleice.com, amznfire.com, kindleice.com, kindlesfire.com and usedfire.com.
You can see the amazonkindleice.com and kindleice.com in the list, which hint that the next Kindle model might carry the name Ice.
We can’t be sure about that, as this might be only a defensive move by the Amazon. Do you think Ice will be the next Kindle tablet? Stay tuned to know more about the next Amazon slate.
