AT&T HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket on Sale with Discounts
AT&T subscribers, did you know this? Two new smartphones are on sale at the moment, as we speak, on your carrier.
The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and HTC Vivid can now be picked up from AT&T stores. It was just days ago that we informed you about the two 4G handsets gearing up for arrival on AT&T.
The company has now opened sales for the two smartphones in their outlets with a discount on the online purchasing.
The HTC Vivid, code named Holiday, is an Android 2.3.4 device supported by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in memory.

It comes equipped with a 4.5-inch qHD LCD screen with 540 x 960 resolution and dual cameras: an 8-megapixel rear shooter with 1080p video recording and dual LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front snapper for video chats. A 1650 mAh battery backs the 177g device that comes in 5.07 x 2.64 x 0.44 inch dimensions.
It supports the other usuals, namely, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, microSD card slot, USB 2.0 and lot more. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket stands on shelves with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display carrying 480 x 800 resolutions.
Under the hood, it hides a 1.5GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, and also supports Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, HDMI, NFC, 4G LTE and a microSD card slot.
An 1850 mAh battery drives the 5.15 x 2.75x 0.37 sized device which weighs 4.65 ounce. It is integrated with two cameras: an 8-megapixel rear snapper with 1080p video capturing and single LED flash and a 2-megapixel front shooter for video calls.
AT&T, through online, now sells the black version of Galaxy S II Skyrocket at a price of $150 with a new two year contract. Meanwhile, Vivid is available at $99.99 with the same period of contract and comes in black and white shades.
