Tom Clancy has a great reputation when it comes to videogames. Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and Rainbow Six have always been games to look forward to especially if you wanted some tactical military based espionage. There hasn’t been a Rainbow Six game is several years and thankfully we’ll be getting one in 2013 with Tom Clancy’s newest game, Rainbow 6 Patriots. Ubisoft Montreal with assistance from Ubisoft Toronto and Red Storm are taking charge with the new shooter that’s set to “capture the reality of modern-day terrorism.” There’s quite a bit of information give about the game including details on multiplayer, co-op, the plot, and it’s estimated arrival.

The game revolves around a new team of Rainbow Six operatives who have to take down a highly organized and highly trained revolutionary group known as the “True Patriots.”  The group claims the America government is corrupted by greedy politicians and corporate special interests. The True Patriots are going to do anything to get their country back no matter how radical their decisions may seem. The game even promises to make tough ethical decisions in order to stop this new terrorist group.

In addition to Rainbow 6’s plot, we have some insight on the titles multiplayer which includes a cooperative experience as well. Players are rewarded for working together and mastering the games new, undisclosed features. Their hopes are that these new features will enhance communication and tactical execution.

Rainbow 6 Patriots is set to release in 2013 on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
