November 1, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Having trouble holding your DSLR stable while shooting photo or video? Well, you are not the only one. And, it seems Edelkrone has identified the issue and tried to cater to your need.

The company has come up with this little device called Pocket Rig to make things easier for you.

So, Pocket Rig is a device that can be connected to the bottom of your camera using the tripod attachment or can be used as a standalone monopod, and serves the purpose of keeping the DSLR stable while shooting video.

Also, you can use the velcro belt-rig to stabilize your camera against your body.

The device, which weighs 2.5 pounds and is made from machined aluminium and stainless steel, looks as compact as a battery grip.

It has a pair of industry standard 15mm RODS that fold inside. It comes with follow focus, matte box and handles for easy use and two seconds is all it takes to be set and deployed.

There is no word on the pricing or availability of the device. But we do have some pictures that tell you how to use a Pocket Rig.

Do you think this is the ultimate solution?

May be, the video below will help you decide.
