Samsung Italy Names 6 Devices for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Upgrade

Time for an Ice Cream treat, anyone? Since the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, inlaid with the Ice Cream Sandwich, came barging in this month, Android device owners have been desperate to hook it up into their own devices.

Google’s latest Android update might be on the road sooner than you think. Samsung Italy has turned up with some news that would make you happy.

Samsung Italy has announced that six devices in their kitty would be getting the Android 4.0 dessert.

The devices are namely: Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.

We were all kind of pinning for these devices anyway, seeing as they were all recently launched by the electronics giant, and are major products in the company’s line-up.

But don’t you get disappointed thinking that only six of the gadgets have been selected.

More devices will be added to the list shortly. US citizens, keep your fingers crossed for any kind of information regarding the update to slip from your carrier’s tongues.

If you are planning on buying a smartphone or tablet, check the list before spending your heavy buck.

Or you could wait a little more time and wait for the Ice Cream to come pouring down.
