Are you a Sammy fan? Then this one is for you! The much-anticipated Focus S from the Samsung stables will be unveiled at the Microsoft event in New York on November 7th.

You might remember, we had earlier updated you on this handset almost a month ago. The device comes powered by Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS and will arrive in the US riding the AT&T air waves.

The latest grapevine murmur talks of the device sporting 1GB of RAM and an optional 16 or 32GB internal storage with no SD expansion slot.

This bit of information leaked by an AT&T employee to folks at winpoweruser  gives us much to chew on.

The handset is equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolutions, 1.4GHz single-core processor, HSPA+ data speeds and gyro sensor.

The device will be incorporated with dual cameras – an 8 megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and 720p video recording and a 1.3-megapixel front facing shooter for video calls.

A 1650mAh Lithium-ion battery backs the 126 x 66.8 x 8.5 mm sized device. On the connectivity front, it has Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB and GPS capabilities.

Currently, the device does not have an Omnia variant – as of now. We need to wait a bit more – till November 7th to be precise – to fish out all Focus S official details.
