Earlier, we brought you a promo video of the upcoming tablet from Dell, the Latitude ST. Now the company has released the spec details of the device. Similar to other devices in the Latitude line, the company is targeting business users with its latest device and it will be available on sale on November 1st.

The 10-inch Dell Latitude ST, which runs a full version of the Windows 7 OS, comes with enterprise-class customizations.

You can also pick your favorite item from the Dock and keyboard accessories that are launching with the tablet.

The new tablet’s screen comes with a resolution of 1366 x 768. The Latitude ST, which is powered by a 1.5GHz Atom Z670 processor, features 2GB of DDR2 RAM. 128 GB of SSD should help in speedy boot-ups and load times.

The device also features Wi-Fi, and the company has promised a 3G version for the future. The device boasts front and rear cameras, and its being claimed that the device has a battery life of 8 hours. For expandability it features USB, SD and HDMI ports.

Unfortunately, an upgrade to Windows 8 is currently not being planned by Dell. But the company is planning to release Windows 8 tablets in the coming months.

The device is compatible with VMware and Citrix virtualization, and it comes with remote management software as well.

There hasn’t been any confirmation about the price of the tablet. Earlier rumors have suggested that a Dell Windows tablet launching this year will cost around $900 to $1,000. And also, we have to consider HP’s Slate 500 tablet which competes on the same market. Therefore we can expect a price tag close to $1000.
