Samsung Galaxy Nexus Available at Amazon SIM Free and Unlocked for £540

We have the latest info for all of you who are waiting eagerly to taste a bit of Ice Cream Sandwich on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset. The device has popped up on Amazon and it appears like it will arrive a few days earlier than expected.

The device is having a price tag of £540 which roughly translates to $864.97  (although my cart said $930).

The handset is available SIM free and unlocked. Therefore you can expect AT&T and T-Mobile compatibility.

As you might already know, an earlier leak suggested that the ICS handset will be available from Verizon on November 10th for $299.99 with a 2-year contract.

But now at Amazon, the device is being listed with an “in stock” date of November 7th. There is no way to tell whether the launch date from “KingofGadgets” is trustworthy, but an early release date sounds great.

Customers won’t be happy about a late arrival since the new OS build is awesome. And we don’t have to say much about 4.65 inches of curved glass and 720p resolution and 1.2GHz dual-core power.

The 5MP camera on the back capturing video at 1080p, the 1.3MP front facing shooter and 1GB of RAM makes it even more appealing.

We will keep you updated on the matter. So stay tuned.
