There’s no dispute about the fact that the Apple iPad 3 is one of the much-anticipated devices as of now. The tablet had been ruling rumor space, with its new features and expected launch.

We had, many a time, updated you earlier with the tablet and it is almost certain now that the third generation iPad will be unveiled next year. Latest grapevine murmur says the iPad 3 launch will happen in March 2012.

What has triggered the latest piece of news is the rumor that Chinese factories are moving faster to produce the new iPad by the end of January. As you might know, in China the New Year celebrations is from January 22 to 28 and the factories will remain shut during that time.

It is believed that the new iPad comes with a smaller dock connector that might cause compatibility issues with existing products. Being only smaller than the current iPad dock connector, the new one with the same number of pins will have problem in plugging with the other devices.

Other than the same screen size of the iPad 2, there is no word on the Retina Display and the 2048×1536 resolution for the new upcoming device. The rumor mill is abuzz on the iPad 3 and the display technology now.

It seems that the new iPad will be sporting the same technology available on the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod Touch 4G. Meanwhile, the iPad 3 will have cases in two colors: black and white.

Apple’s pattern of releasing the previous iPads around the same period also strengthens this iPad 3 March launch talk. You might remember in the past, the Cupertino-based company introduced the first iPad in April 2010 and the iPad 2 in March 2011.

Meanwhile, rumors have been flying thick and fast that the launch will happen around June as the A6 processor for the iPad 3 will not be ready at that March. We need to get a confirmation on that before we get over excited, right. By the way, are you really looking forward to the iPad 3?
