The LG DoublePlay handset, which was unveiled back on October 17th and is headed to T-Mobile, is an attempt by the company to gain some ground in the area of new form factors. Earlier, the company gave us some details about the device’s features including the fact that it comes with dual touchscreens. But we didn’t get a launch date of the device.

Now, a leak, which comes to us courtesy of TmoNews, is suggesting that the device will be released on November 2nd. Web and telesales will start offering the device a few days early on Wednesday.

Check out the leaked document which is proof on the matter.

In case you didn’t know, the LG DoublePlay comes equipped with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5 megapixel camera which is capable of recording 720p video and it runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The device features a 3.5 inch primary screen and a 2.0 inch secondary screen. The smaller screen is sandwiched in between two halves of a QWERTY keyboard.

The presence of two screens, which can be used separately or in tandem with each other, will allow users to perform multiple tasks at once such as staying connected through social media while simultaneously surfing the net, texting or checking email.

We will let you know as soon as there is an official announcement from the company. So stay tuned.
