Earlier, we gave you news about a leak which gave us a launch date for an upcoming Android device on T-Mobile. Now, it’s the launch details about a Windows device on the carrier, and T-Mobile has given out confirmation on the matter.
The carrier has confirmed via their Facebook account that the HTC Radar 4G, which is a Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) device, will be released on November 2nd.
The mid-level smartphone is coming with a price tag of $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a new two-year contract.
The Radar, which seems like a perfect Windows Phone for budget-minded customers, will be T-Mobile’s first Windows Phone to offer “4G” speeds. The device comes with support for T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.
The handset comes equipped with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 3.7-inch display, and a 5 megapixel camera. You will also get 512MB of RAM.
For convenience, the device features a dedicated camera button which provides easy access to its camera, even if it’s locked.
The device, which measures in at 4.7 by 2.4 by 0.4 inches and weighs 4.8 ounces, also has 8GB of on-board storage.
