Samsung Galaxy Note Price Cut to £495 for Customers in the UK

October 21, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

There have been a fair amount of pre-release talks about the Samsung Galaxy Note, including launch date and price, and that it will not support NFC.

Now this one is again about its price for the UK market, which thankfully has gone down. The device will be available for £495, and not £559.

Online retailer Clove has announced the price cut, which is just £6 short of the initially predicted price of the device.

Clove said that it looks like Samsung might have realized the initial price of £559 for the Note was perhaps a little too high and that it’s now been dropped to £495. So the new price will be £594 including VAT.

Clove also announced that the Galaxy Note will be available on November 1. The Motorola Razor will also be launched at the same time, and the Galaxy Nexus is rumored to arrive on 7th of November as well.

Here’s a quick reminder of the specs: The Galaxy Note has a bigger 5.3 inch Super AMOLED display, front and rear facing cameras, and will come with a ‘Smart Pen’ stylus.

The device will be powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and 16 GB of storage on board, and will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Have you decided to get your hands on this big guy now that the price has been reduced?
