Samsung Galaxy Nexus Promotional Video and Spec Recap; Register Now at the Official Nexus Website

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first official smartphone to run Google’s latest OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. The device and the new OS were unveiled in Hong Kong late Tuesday evening. Those of you who missed the event and want to relive the moment can do so by paying a visit to the official Galaxy Nexus website over at google.com/nexus.

You will find a “register now” option at the website. We highly recommend that you take time to register so that you will know the minute this thing becomes available.

 

 

The company has also released a promotional video of the device which will let you take a peek at all the features that will be available to you with the new smartphone and the awesome OS that it will be running.

The Galaxy Nexus, which comes equipped with a dual core 1.2GHz OMAP4460 processor, features the same 4.65-inch 1280×720 Super AMOLED display from the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE.

The device boasts a 5MP AF camera with LED Flash and zero shutter lag. There is a 1.3MP front facing camera for all your video calling needs.

The device also comes with 1GB of RAM and is powered by a 1,750 mAh battery. Earlier, we gave you news that the device will be available from Japanese mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo in November. Samsung has confirmed that they will begin shipping the device worldwide next month.
