Samsung Galaxy Nexus in November; Japanese Carrier NTT DoCoMo Confirms

Hong Kong, here it comes! Samsung and Google are all set to unveil the first Ice Cream Sandwich device on October 18 at Hong Kong. We have already had rumors as to when the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be available, with the pointers on the date 10th of November.

Now we know for sure that the device will be available next month. Japanese mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo has confirmed that they will start selling the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in November.

Rumor has it that the Android 4.0 device could have a world phone configuration like the iPhone 4S.

This is the last round of speculation: the Galaxy Nexus is expected to sport a curved chassis as well as a curved glass.

The smartphone features a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and an 8 megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p HD video.

No word on whether we have to wait till November for the device to arrive in Europe and the US. The device could be exclusive to Sprint as well, if you go by the rumors.
