Here’s something for Nokia fans to get excited about! A new smartphone, christened Nokia 710 from the Finnish company will be seen soon. The phone was spotted in the leaked page of the Nokia’s own developer page along with the Nokia 603 for comparison. It had made a brief appearance in the list of Occasional Gamer website too. Some of the leaked specs of the handset give us reasons to smile. The smartphone is equipped with a 1.4GHz single-core ARM Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of RAM and 8GB built-in memory. A 5-megapixel camera with 28mm wide angle lens allows 720p, 30FPS video recording. The Clear Black TFT technology backs the 3.7-inch screen with 800 x 480 resolutions. It is interesting to note that the device will run the Maemo Internet Tablet OS 2008 Edition. But the chance of Windows Phone 7.5 is more seeing the impressive specs leaked. It comes with an undisclosed browser and a microSIM card slot. A BL-5B 3.7V 820mAh battery will provide 400 hours of standby power, 5 hours of 3G browsing and 7 hours of GSM talk time. The 125.5g device comes in 119 x 62.4 x 12.48mm dimensions. We expect Nokia to unveil the smartphone at the upcoming Nokia World 2011 event in London on October 26th.
