Asus is giving an update to its Lamborghini VX6, one among the line of laptops inspired by Lamborghini design and with a crest of the luxury vehicle’s crest on the lid.

As you know, the VX6 was a bit of a disappointment regarding the power of its 1.8 GHz Intel Atom D525 dual core processor.

And now the update, well it is not about the processor as such, is that the laptop will come with a 2.13 GHz Intel Atom D2700 Cedar Trail chip.

On the inside, there is a new Cedar Trail D2700 CPU, a 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and a dedicated AMD Radeon 6470M graphics chip to give it a boost, along with a standard 5400 rpm hard-drive.

The guys over at Netbook Live have all the details plus an unboxing video (posted below) . There is no boost in the raw CPU power but the graphics card seems to help out a little.

There is no word on the pricing or availability of the laptop. Would you go for it when the revamped Asus Lamborghini VX6 hits the market?
