You may not be someone who is amazed with the new iPhone, but the device does come with high-end features and its definitely going to be around for a while. The handset is now available on sale in the UK.

The new smartphone will be available from Apple Stores and key carrier stores. The iPhone units will be delivered today to those of you who pre-ordered the device earlier.

Meanwhile, all the US customers who pre-ordered will have to wait a few more hours to start playing with the device.

Just to remind you, the new device looks just like its predecessor on the outside, but everything is new inside. The device comes equipped with a dual-core Apple A5 chipset, World Phone connectivity and a new dual-core GPU.

The device also features an 8 megapixel camera and the much touted Siri that helps users get things done just by asking.

If you didn’t find time to pre-order the device, it is currently available online direct from Apple. Apple is only offering the unlocked, SIM-free versions. The device is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities with price tags of £499, £599, and $699 respectively.

In the UK, the device is also available from Vodafone, Orange, Three and T-Mobile on contracts. And O2 is currently limiting sales to existing subscribers.

So, are you going to get the new device? Or are you waiting for something from the Android world?
