Sony PS Vita Game Title Prices Released for Japan; The Uncharted: Golden Abyss Priced at $77

All you gaming freaks out there are sure to be excited hearing this. We know you are anxiously waiting for Sony’s PS Vita, which is gearing up for a gala launch. The company is all set to release the device by December 17th,  in Japan first. Now, ahead of the launch, they have revealed the prices of the PS Vita titles on home terrain.

You might remember we had updated you with the PS Vita specs, launch details and some of the six titles the device would carry from Ubisoft.

What we have here for you are some of the price tags of the games that will be seen in Japan.

So here goes: The Uncharted: Golden Abyss will be coming at a price of 5,980Yen ($77). Meanwhile, it only costs 4,900Yen ($65) for the downloadable version. Another game – Everybody’s Golf Next will be available at $65 for the boxed copy and $52 for the download version.

Chances are that you might be surprised by this pricing details, but just remember the exchange rate and pricing in the US. The price of the PS Vita in Japan is $390 for the 3G version and $325 for the Wi-Fi model. Meanwhile, in the US, the PS Vita costs only $299 and $249 for the respective versions.

This will reflect in reduced pricing as the boxed copy costs around $59 and the downloadable version at $50 in the Western markets.

You can relax a little more, as we hear the retailers have the option to reduce the prices of the titles so as to make them available at cheaper rates. So gamers, wait till the US launch scheduled for February 28th to get the PS Vita and the game titles at low cost. Happy gaming, folks!
