Acer fans, are you ready for a stunner that’s coming your way? The company is on track to offer you a new smartphone, christened Allegro. One significant aspect about the new upcoming device is the presence of  Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS in its innards.

Acer will be introducing the Allegro as a mid-range Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone. The company believes that this handset will be widely accepted as all other phones powered by this OS come with a high market price.

Interestingly, Allegro will be the company’s first smartphone to feature Windows Phone 7.5 OS. The handset was earlier spotted as the Acer W4 when IFA Berlin was underway. The new phone sports a 3.6-inch WVGA display, a 1GHz single-core processor, 8GB storage and 5-megapixel rear camera.

Further, it supports HSPA, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity and will be available in two colors – Black and White. Acer is planning to release the smartphone in Europe before Christmas for a recommended retail price of 299 Euros.

The company has also added that they will be bringing the Liquid Mini Ferrari phone by the year-end. The Android 2.3 powered handset features a 3.2-inch HVGA display, a 600MHz processor, 8GB memory and 5- megapixel camera.

It comes sporting Ferrari colors, Ferrari content, a Bluetooth earphone and case with the car maker’s logo. This charmer of a phone will be available  for 299 Euros and also on subscription starting from 1 Euro at the PhoneWarehouse France.

Stay here as we go looking for the official release and pricing details of the Allegro.
