T-Mobile SpringBoard Android Tablet Confirmed Early, Sports 7-inch HD Touchscreen

It seems like T-Mobile subscribers will soon get the chance to play with a 4G tablet. Christened T-Mobile SpringBoard, the device was earlier spotted as the Huawei MediaPad and has now been accidentally confirmed by the carrier.

The slate sports a 7-inch HD touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolutions, dual cameras: a 5-megapixel rear shooter and front-facing snapper, 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and 16GB built-in memory expandable up to 32GB.

We hear the slate will be powered by Google’s Android 3.2. It offers vibrant, detailed screen image with superfine pixel density (217 ppi).

It also allows easy access to the movies and TV shows via the preloaded Netflix and Blockbuster. It comes with lot of popular apps and T-Mobile apps too. It is equipped withBluetooth,Wi-Fi,GPS, HDMI out, QWERTY keyboard,USBtethering, voice recorder and more.

A 4100 mAh battery backs the 400g device. It comes in 7.48 x 5.08 x 0.41 inch measurements.

The SpringBoard is expected to be available in the US at $200 on contract, based on the size and features. Meanwhile, the tablet will also be offered without contract too, but no pricing details are out as of yet. The upcoming  CTIA show might feature the device in all its glory.
