Samsung has released a new teaser video ahead of its ‘Mobile Unpacked 2011’ event which is scheduled to take place on October 11. The company is expected to unveil its latest smartphone, the Nexus Prime, at the event. In the newly issued video, the company is teasing that ‘Something BIG is coming’.

The event is also being called the ‘Google Episode” and it is believed that the search giant’s next OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, will also be unveiled at the event.

As you might already know, the Android 4.0 OS is expected to come with features of Google’s smartphone and tablet operating systems.

The device in the teaser video (posted below) appears to be a smartphone which is equipped with a curved screen. The device is most probably the Nexus Prime. The curved screen design appears to be inspired by another Samsung device, the Google Nexus S.

The specs of the Nexus Prime are expected to be similar to that of the Galaxy S II HD LTE. The device might come equipped with a large 4.6-inch Super AMOLED screen which is said to be a high resolution type almost similar to the iPhone 4’s fabled Retina Display.

The display will be capable of displaying 720p natively. The handset is also expected to feature a dual-core 1.5GHz Samsung Exynos processor and be equipped with LTE-based 4G.

Check out the teaser video which is promoting the idea that some things in life just go better together and that ‘Another perfect combination is just around the corner’.
