Apple, after the unveiling of iPhone 4S, has also offered a new gift to customers. The new dole out, christened AppleCare+, is a service you will have to purchase for $100 at the time when you buy your new iPhone 4S.

Normally, all iPhones get a one-year hardware repair coverage and telephone technical support for 90 days. But this new AppleCare+ plan extends the package for two years and also offers coverage for two incidents of accidental damage due to handling. You will have to pay a $49-fee each time you opt for this service.

Apple affirms users that they will be able to get technical and software support from experts on troubleshooting via your 4S device or from an Apple Retail Store.

You can also clear issues related to the iOS, iCloud, iPhone apps like Mail, iMessage and Calendar and the interconnectivity between your iPhone and Mac or PC.

The hardware package includes coverage of iPhone, battery, earphones and accessories with the service fee for two accidental incidents.

So what are you waiting for? Go for the new iPhone 4S and get this new AppleCare for $100 along with it. Head here for more on that. Don’t forget to tell us if you like what’s being offered.
