Let’s Talk iPhone Event: CEO Tim Cook Takes Centre Stage

October 4, 2011, By Leo Xavier

Every single tech fan in the world has been eagerly waiting for this moment, the unveiling of the Apple iPhone 5. We are reporting live from Cupertino, and finally CEO Tim Cook has walked onstage to kick off the event at which the iPhone 5 is expected to be unveiled.

The iPhone event “Let’s talk iPhone” is Cook’s unofficial debut since taking over from Jobs in August. Steve Jobs, now chairman, is also expected to make an appearance, although it would not be a major disappointment if he doesn’t show up.

Later tonight, we will know exactly what Apple has in store for us. And you will definitely hear about it no matter where you are.

The device, which many are already calling the ‘best phone in the world’, is expected to feature a larger screen, more powerful hardware and seamless integration with the cloud, besides coming equipped with one or more surprise features.

Apple is also expected to launch a cheaper (yet more powerful) version of the existing iPhone 4, which will become a threat to the survival of the numerous ‘cheap’ Android smartphones that are on the market nowadays.

We will keep on updating. So stay tuned.
