iPhone Cheaper Variant Pictures Surface Just Ahead of Apple Event

We have already had so many rumors about a cheaper iPhone, not to mention the iPhone 5 and an 8GB version of the iPhone 4. With Apple’s big event in a few hours from now, the rumor mill is trying to make the maximum out of the remaining hours.

This is the latest hit, a few photos of a smartphone similar to the iPhone 4 have surfaced – and it is believed they are of the alleged iPhone 4S.

The phone comes from the Brazilian Foxconn factory and some people think that the device is fake; it bears a new SKU. Also the model number of the phone is not iPhone N92, rather its N90A. That suggests it could be an older iPhone.

But pointers suggest that this could not be the cheaper iPhone that is expected to come out later this year.

It is also said that the device in question did not pass Apple’s stringent quality control. So this might be a prototype that will never make it to the market.

So much is being talked about tomorrow’s event as well. Sure enough, the iPhone 5 is not left out.

The fifth generation iPhone is expected to feature a 4 inch touchscreen of resolution 960 x 640, an 8 megapixel camera on the back capable of recording 108p video, the iOS 5, 1GB RAM, apple A5 processor, dual mode GSM / CDMA chipset and NFC, but there is no 4G support.

We hope the Let’s Talk iPhone press conference will be the answer to all the questions surrounding the iPhones and that at least two iPhones would see the light of the day when the all important day dawns.
