We want to tell you that Virgin mobile is bringing  in the LG Optimus Slider as a prepaid offering.  The LG Optimus Slider  is the second generation successor to the LG Optimus V (not the Optimus Note, by the way). HTC Wildfire S has been announced as well.

The LG Optimus Slider will come with an easy to use slide out keyboard and sports a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touch display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 1500 mAh battery, microSD support up to 23GB, Bluetooth 3.0 and Google’s Android 2.3.

The Optimus Slider will be available at Virgin Mobile US website, starting October 17th for $199.99, October 31st  at Best Buy and Radio Shack stores, November 6th at Target, and at Sprint stores from October 30th.

Meanwhile, the HTC Wildfire S will feature a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 5MP camera with flash, 600 MHz processor 3G and Wi-Fi capability, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, plus HTC Sense.

This one will be available starting October 23rd. You can get a silver hued device from Best Buy or a white one from Radio Shack, for $199.99.

Which one are you planning to buy?

BTW, have you heard Virgin Mobile has postponed its plans for data throttling?
