LG Marquee Detailed on Video, To Come Riding Sprint

LG fans, did you know the Marquee is on its way to your midst? The long-awaited LG Marquee might be seen soon on Sprint. We had earlier told you about the smartphone with model number LS-855 spotted on the carrier’s list. It is also believed that the device will be called the LG Optimus Black.

We have got for you a You Tube video from Sprint that offers a clear overview of the LG Marquee. In the two-and-half minute video, the sleek handset looks stylish and sports impressive features that will lure customers.

Sprint has also termed the device as “a high style slim smartphone with a brilliant high resolution touchscreen.” The only thing missing in the 0.36-inch slim phone is 4G capability.

The Android 2.3 powered handset boasts a 4-inch NOVA display with 800 x 480 resolution, a 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 2 GB internal memory, dual cameras (a 5-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front snapper for video chatting) and a virtual QWERTY keyboard.

A 1500 mAh Lithium-ion battery backs the 112 g device. It comes with Mobile Hotspot, Sprint ID, Qik, Swype and Sprint TV. It offers support for Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB 2.0, micro SD card and much more.

If you remember, the handset was priced at $100 on contract at the time of pre-order on Sprint and is scheduled to arrive at October 2.
