iPhone 5 Fans Allegedly More than Nexus Prime Devotees

Android and iOS fans are always against each other, and as the world waits for the two biggest launches of the industry, the competition and pressure is mounting. October is the month when the much-awaited and much-talked about Apple iPhone 5 and the Nexus Prime is expected to be released.

While the competition still sparks between iOS and Android, a new study conducted by mobile ad network, InMobi, states that the Apple device tops the desirables list among fans, pushing down Google and RIM’s Blackberry smartphones. Consumers from US,Canada and Europe were considered in the survey, but many are skeptical on the results reflecting public opinion.

Even though from the data diagrams Apple’s fifth generation iPhone is seen standing high with 41% of mobile phone users opting for it, many similar surveys done in the past has had their results come crashing down after proven wrong. The Nexus Prime is still unannounced, but many expect it to launch next month.

Google has confirmed the Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4) release for October, and many believe that the Nexus Prime will be launched with the Latest OS. If that happens, a scuffle over the two smartphone sales is likely.

But irrespective of who favors them, it is a given fact that both the smartphones would be the icing on the cake, and would be a cause of discomfort for the other company’s like Microsoft and RIM, who are trying to catch up on the smartphone race.
