Viewsonic V430 Sports Larger 4.3-inch Touchscreen Display; Runs Android 2.2 OS

If you have been waiting to know what would follow the ViewPad 4 and the V350, Viewsonic has finally brought in an answer. The company has unveiled a new smartphone from their stables and named it V430.

The handset comes with striking resemblance to their previous V350 model and is larger than the V350.

Powered by Android 2.2 Froyo OS (oh doesn’t that sound ancient?), the smartphone boasts a large 4.3-inch touchscreen with WVGA resolution. The larger screen could be one lure – may be.

The device will also sport a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of RAM, 512 MB ROM, dual cameras – a 5 megapixel rear shooter with autofocus and flash and a front facing 0.3 megapixel snapper for video calls.

The company claims that the device with a stylish and attractive design is different from the other models they have already brought to us.

The phone comes enclosed in a black metal case surrounded by a sliver rim.

The multi-touch handset offers the Viewsonic’s ViewScene 3D UI interface, integrated along with the Google’s Android OS. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and much more.

Now, here comes another disappointment. It seems that the V430 will be first launched in Russia. That means there are no signs from the company about the smartphone’s release in other countries.

We think that the phone will be coming in a mid-level range as looking at the specs. Stay tuned as we go looking for the pricing and launch details.

By the way, would you want to have this one at all?
